Factory-installed options are configurations that are built into linear light fixtures at the manufacturer before shipment. These are not field-installable add-ons. They must be specified at the time of order, which means getting the spec right before placing an order is critical. The most common factory options for LED linear lights include 0-10V dimming drivers, TRIAC or ELV compatible drivers for phase-dimming systems, integrated occupancy or daylight sensors, and emergency battery backup modules.
