Remote heads are specified by wattage, beam spread, and mounting type. They connect to the host unit via standard low-voltage wiring and activate automatically on the same AC power loss signal that triggers the main unit. Adjustable heads allow aiming at a specific floor area or stairwell landing after installation without tools.
A common application is a corridor where the main emergency light is at one end and remote heads extend coverage toward the far end or around a corner. Another is a multi-flight stairwell where the main unit cannot illuminate the full run from one position.
