120V LED Undercabinet

120V LED undercabinet fixtures connect directly to standard household current, eliminating the transformer required by low-voltage 12V and 24V systems. That makes them the fastest and most cost-effective option for retrofit installations, production home builders, and any project where simplicity at rough-in outweighs the benefits of a low-voltage system architecture.

About 120V LED Undercabinet

120V LED undercabinet fixtures connect directly to standard household current, eliminating the transformer required by low-voltage 12V and 24V systems. That makes them the fastest and most cost-effective option for retrofit installations, production home builders, and any project where simplicity at rough-in outweighs the benefits of a low-voltage system architecture.

Hardwired 120V undercabinet bars wire into a junction box inside the cabinet above, keeping the installation clean with no visible power cord. Plug-in models connect to a receptacle inside the cabinet via a short cord and are even simpler to install, though they require an outlet inside or at the back of the cabinet run. Most 120V bar fixtures are linkable, allowing multiple units to share a single connection point via short inline connectors that tuck behind the front rail of the cabinet.

Output and color temperature options are comparable to low-voltage equivalents: 300 to 600 lumens per foot, with 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K color temperatures available across most product lines. Many 120V undercabinet fixtures include an integral dimmer switch built into the housing or support wall-box dimming via a standard leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer.

For installations where low-voltage flexibility is preferred, compare with 12V LED undercabinet and 24V LED undercabinet options. For puck-style accent fixtures, see puck lights. Browse the full range in undercabinet light fixtures.
