Most commercial buildings still have a ceiling full of 2x4 and 2x2 lay-in troffers with sound housings. Some still run fluorescent lamps. Others got an early LED retrofit that is already showing its age. Owners and facility managers are now hearing about tunable white from tenants, from designers on renovation work, and from wellness programs. What they are not getting is budget for ceiling demo, new grid, or plenum work in an occupied building. MaxLite's TRK Troffer Retrofit Kit Control Ready S …

A two-tone ceiling cylinder shows up on a bid set for a reason. The designer wanted a decorative downlight detail instead of a plain black baffle, usually in a lobby, corridor, hospitality dining room, or a multifamily amenity space where the ceiling itself is part of the design story. Westgate's new CMC-2Tone Series gives an electrical contractor one platform to bid across that whole scope instead of three or four disconnected part numbers, and it is worth knowing the range before it shows up a …

Pickleball and padel courts are going in fast right now, on park district budgets, HOA amenity upgrades, and multi-sport rec facility retrofits, and a lot of that work lands on contractors who have never bid a dedicated court lighting package before. The fixture that shows up on the plans is often a generic area light or flood light spec'd because it was available, not because it fits the court. Westgate's new SFP Series is built specifically for that gap: a two-wattage LED platform engineered a …

Undercabinet lighting on a commercial job usually comes down to one call made early in the rough-in: run low-voltage tape or pucks that need a remote driver location and a home run back to it, or specify a line-voltage fixture that carries its own driver and lands on a standard branch circuit. The new Westgate's UCLB series is built for the second path. It's a 120V direct-wire linear light bar with the driver built into the fixture body, CRI90 optics, and CCT that gets set at the fixture instead …

One switch on top sets wattage and CCT on the RLB Series, Westgate's new selectable low bay. Pick 80W, 100W, or 120W, all at 140 LM/W, and 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K, on the same platform in black or white. Miss the call before the lift leaves the site, and the fix is a flip of that switch, not a return authorization. Two SKUs, RLB-80-120W-MCTP-BK and RLB-80-120W-MCTP-WH, replace what used to be eighteen part numbers to stock, on a housing that ships IP65, UL listed, on a 1/2 inch hook mount with a …

The SCR series is Westgate's architectural round suspended pendant platform built for commercial and hospitality interiors where the architect or engineer specifies a single pendant family across multiple zones, ceiling heights, and output levels without a separate submittal for each configuration. The conventional approach to this problem is a different fixed-wattage, fixed-CCT catalog number for every zone, which means a new purchase order every time the photometric gets revised. The MCTP5 mod …

The LAX Series is Westgate's dynamic beam-adjustable area light platform, built for commercial and industrial outdoor projects that need a single fixture family to cover multiple zones, mounting heights, and output levels without a separate submittal for each configuration. Unlike fixed-wattage shoebox fixtures that require a distinct SKU for every wattage point and a separate model for each beam pattern, the LAX is built on a common platform across both size tiers. One DLC Premium listing, one …

The ERSH Series is Westgate's decorative outdoor lighting platform, designed for projects that need a single fixture family to cover multiple mounting types and locations without a separate submittal for each configuration. Unlike decorative exterior sconces that ship as stand-alone units with product-specific mounting hardware, the ERSH is built on a common platform across all four models. One ETL wet-location listing, one standard 4-inch junction box mount, the same E26 socket, and clear …
